(A german version of the interview you’ll find here!)
One or the other might have seen the clip Urban Hack Attack, already. It has its source in collaboration between the viral marketing agencies Brainstormclub and DSG. They have developed it for a potential client from the entertainment sector and postproduced it with Lafourmi.
Because of different circumstances the clip has never been used in a commercial way. Therefore, an experiment has been conducted. The clip has been uploaded to YouTube. A professional seeding has supported its spread. In a short amount of time the clip achieved a quarter-million views, and lots of subscribers, friends and commentators.
Since then, the clip caused a great stir. Until today 1.5 million views have been reached on YouTube. Furthermore, it occurred in many TV-broadcasts, i.e. on CNN in the spring of 2009.
Now, one year later, there is an interesting copy of the clip. No one at least than Coca Cola Korea used the clip as an artwork to advertise its product Coke Zero. The clip on YouTube one could see a reproduction of the Urban Hack Attack, which is as close as you can stick to the original.
We want to make clear that whether Brainstormclub, nor DSG are against the adaptation. Merely, we like to let both versions compete against each other. Vote for your favorite:
